Several weeks ago now, we went to the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival. It was super hot, etc. so we slipped into The American History museum & my little one loved the view finder & etch-a-sketch! My childhood toys are in a museum - dang am I old or what?

Don't feel too bad. These toys weren't even around yet when I was a child.

Nah - everything old is new again.

The corp office for ViewMaster used to be just outside of Portland. When I was teaching preschool, one of the moms worked there and brought us the picture reels all of the time.

Everything I played with is now a collectible. Yup, I'm old. And I need to sell some of my old toys.

Hey, I remember fondly the view finder and etch-a-sketch...loved them. It's alright to be your age. I wouldn't trade those days for anything....smiles!!
