Blogger's Quilt Festival
This was the first quilt that I made that used solids. Previously I had used mottled or WOW/COC type prints. This was also my first "mod" quilt. The pattern is Plain Spoken which can be found in Modern Quilt Workshop by Weeks Ringle & Bill Kerr.
I love the way those colours play off each other . Often with solids it's the quilting that makes the impact but your whole quilt is just breath taking!
What a pretty quilt!! I have never made a quilt with just solids, but seeing a revival of sorts of this has made me want to jump on the band wagon!! I may have to start a FQ solid collection and see what comes of it. :)
