I also finished this top recently. Those are all Japanese Woven Taupes. I wanted a dark quilt - ummm All I can say is that some of those lighter prints "HAD" to be included & Boy does a dark dark make a medium look light...
(In this photo, the bottom right corner of the quilt was my "goal." Oh well, it still works & I still used that fabric.)
I am going to have a bulls eye quilted onto each square.
