So you've always wanted to make an I SPY quilt,

The mandate has been set - CULL the fabric stash.

These are my pre-cut 5 inch squares. Do you see that fussy cut parrot on the top, most are cut similarly. Many others, I tried to give at least 1/4 inch around an image. I'm not going to say that there are not duplicates - I can actually guarantee that there are some duplicates - not a lot... There is a good mix of masculine, feminine, adult, & juvenile prints. (Some light, some dark, some large scale, some small...)

The stack measures 4.5 inches tall, I did not count them... (You can see a sampling of charms in the previous 3 posts.)

One of the commenters to this post will be able to walk away with these for the price of postage. (Fair?)

To be considered,
1. I have to be able to reply to your comment.
2. State you name & where you are from.
3. Tell me how you found my blog & about how long you have been skimming through the blather.
4. Tell me what you plan on doing with these charms.
5. You do not have to "follow" me, but if you want to have at it.
6. You don't have to blog about this give away, but if you want to...
7. I don't tweet or facebook, so you don't have to do anything there either.
8. If you comment on my flickr photo as well, you can have your name in the pot twice.

Hi Amy: My name is Phyllis and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have always wanted to make an I Spy quilt and next year my goal is to make a hexagon quilt. Perhaps, I could combine the two. I like your photo on Flicker. It reminds me of our two young cats - after 21 years, out cat, Pumpkin (she was ornage), passed away and we miss her. These two young cats, Bessie and Clara, have filled a void in our lives. We just love them. I don't have a blog but I enjoy searching quilt blogs which is how I found you. Thank you for this opportunity. rpshandATnsDOTsympaticoDOTca

I'll put my name in the hat! I've been following you on Flickr for some time. I hope you can reply to this comment...
If I do get this bundle I think another ISpy House quilt would be perfect for these awesome charms!

Aloha! My name is Liz and I live in Hawai`i. My four grandkids are the perfect age to enjoy an I Spy quilt. I follow so many quilt blogs that I'm not sure which one linked to your blog. We have two cats: Spots Cat is my quilting companion but Mz Pushy Cat could care less about anything to do with fabric.

I'm Valerie, I'm from near Ottawa, Canada. I found you through Flickr of course, you're in my contact list so I see all of the fun pics you post ;)

Last year I made my nephews tiny little i-spy quilts for Christmas and my own two little people have been begging for i-spys of their own ever since but it's awfully time consuming collecting all of the squares!

(and since everyone else is talking about their cats, I have two, and they are sweet and fat and spolied!)

Hi,
My name is Carin and I live in toronto canada but I am from Michigan.
I run a non-profit organization callled Margaret's Hope Chest and I found you on the Flickr I spy swap site--I have participated in a couple of I spy swaps over there. Margaret's Hope Chest makes and gives quilts to children all over the country that need a little HOPE and comfort. We have a program called 'Wrapped in Hope' and we give about 400 quilts a year to kids with at least one parent in prison. Personally, I make quilts all year long (maybe like 50 a year?!) for these kids--I would LOVE more I spy squares because I get really sick of my own fabric sometimes!
I can't remember if there was anything else I was supposed to mention but I would be so excited to get these squares and they would be used for a wonderful purpose (in my opinion :))
check out our blog if you want to read more!

Wow, you're tough ;-)

I'm actually working on a small I-spy quilt--a commission for a friend to give to a new baby in her family--and I'd love to rebuild my stash of squares.

1. Yes, you CAN reply to this comment.
2. I'm Sophie from Austin, Texas.
3. I think I found your blog when Debra's Quilt Studio ring was active ... it's been years and we even met in 2007 at Houston--before Jacob ... do you remember life before Jacob?
4. Don't laugh, but I want to make a grown-up size I-Spy quilt to wrap up in when I'm feeling blue. Who can feel blue when they're distracted by all the colors and the motifs?
5. I've been following you (on your blog and on Flickr for a while--it's the total Calico Cat experience ;-)
6. I confess I get tired of reading about people blogging about other people's give-aways, so I probably won't blog about this one ... it's nothing personal.
7. I don't tweet or facebook either.
8. Yay! I'm done ... and I'm off to Flickr to check out the comments there and add my own. You're a tough cookie, but what a fun give-away idea.

I can't even remember how I found you but I have been a follower for a long time. I love your blog. I am from Michigan. I have 3 baby quilts to make in the near future and these would make great baby quilts. I also make charity quilts and some would probably work for that as well.

I have been working on an I SPY quilt for awhile now, but I seem to have run out of fabric. I would love a chance to win some of yours! You know who I am.

My name is Judith Hogan and I live in Saanichton, British Columbia. I found you via A simple Life blog. I hadn't thought of an I Spy quilt but now my grandson is turning 1 and I'm sure he would love one. Thanks for the chance to win some I Spy squares.

I'm Leila and I live in Iowa. You left a comment on my flickr picture and I followed the links here. I am collecting charms for a retro inspired eye-spy quilt. It would be fun to see what is in that stack!
