Jacob saw the geese & as we got closer, the geese did not act like they were going to let any bipedal mammals infringe on their dinner.
So we took Jacob out thinking that he might venture a bit closer. (He had already been cursed out by a goose when she was laying on her clutch in the Spring, so Jacob has a healthy fear of those big ole birds.)
After witnessing the goose on goose violence (One goose honked, and plucked a feather out of another - for some invisible infraction. Kind of like getting in trouble when you sister stole the cookie, but your parents had no idea who was to blame.) doubt that he will be going near them again. & We crossed the street to head home rather than returning the way we went...
No toddlers were injured in the making of this video & I am pretty sure that the goose has gotten over her pulcking as well.

Geese are pinchers!! Good to avoid them...
I always knew that Jacob was smart! Those darn geese can be danderous.
