I haven't like the boxes when they have been inserted in the center of a quilt. This quilt, OTH, is really nice. Like you, I like the boxes in the border.
I am wondering if the center is pieced? All those little kaleidoscopes? I like the boxes in the border okay, but would like to see hexa-shapes rather than cubes to mirror the hexes in the center.
