TAHNKS FOR YOUR SHARING~~~VERY NICE ........................................
While I am not normally for pink, I think salmon/pink as in the yellow fabric would look nice.
How about a pinwheel sampler see ps I quilt for her free patterns. Love them, can't wait to see what you come up with!
Vicki beat me to it. I'm currently on a pinwheel kick and those would look great. The pattern really shows off great fabric so well.
Pin wheels are a great choice, but you really could do anything with them. A great little quilt, bag, or table topper/runner. I am looking forward to see what you decide on.
bring in a coral and a turquoise. that grey is a nice touch!
I'm thinking Vicki has the right idea. Rachel over at ps i quilt is doing really cute pinwheels that would really highlight your beautiful fabrics! :)
Oh I agree! Those fabrics would be fabulous in a pinwheel sampler!
It seems like everyone is on a pinwheel kick. I just finished s baby quilt and now I'm done with pinwheels. How about 'strips and curves'. I think they are by Louisa Smith. She has at least two books out. I'll go look in my magazine/book collection and let you know.
I might try removing the very dark left fabric, and adding a melon/salmon to match the flower in the fourth from the left.
Guess it depends on intention and preferences, but I really like your fabrics!
I see the hexagons that are easily made with the tri recs ruler that can be seen http://babyboomerquiltingbee.blogspot.com/search/label/2010%20Quilts%20Finished
here. It is from Judy in Lousiana that is often on Judy L.'s Design Wall Monday.
Add more Pink and Teal or use that for sashing the blocks that you choose to make. What is YOUR favorite Block to make?
I'd say use a solid black or white to lock all those patterns together.
I'm with Rhonda, although maybe rather than actual black or white solid, a neutralish solid colour that's picking up on one of the colours you've already got. I know what I mean, but I'm not sure anyone else will....
These are fun prints. My first thought was wonky log cabins like Pat Sloan or Quilt Dad. I would add more as I go - maybe some peach or aqua or something surprising - like lime green! Good luck and thanks for asking for our thoughts!
i vote for a pale turquoise as well....would make it zing a little
More turquoise, and maybe a little more white.
