There were two exhibits where it appeard as though quilts with words was a theme/rule...
(I like words on quilts/fabric, much more so than on placcards - there I've said it, in general I do not read the placcards. For me the reaction is much more visceral & about the visual impact.)
The Hebrew letter is a Shin for Shaddai.
