new family

While it has nothing to do with this photo, I am officially now the mother of a boy baby. Yes, I got peed on today...

I think the baby got more on himself than on me, which did not make him happy - but he is is not happy when being changed anyway. He does not like being "messed with."

I feel like an old lady. We had errands to run after visiting with the pediatrician. I was all hunched over walking slowly...

I have barely had any time to do anything - not sure when that will change... (I had different ideas - maybe they will come to fruition after I heal from the surgery.)

I hope to take a trip around the blog-o-sphere real soon. Thanks for all of the well wishes.

Hang in there, kiddo! By the end of the week you will start to feel "normal" again...no more hunched over old lady. Try to enjoy every moment. They pass by so quickly.

Welcome to the joys of motherhood, just wait until he poops on you :)

Don't expect to do anything or have any time for about 6 weeks. Well that's how long it took for us to work out a routine and what we were doing...

Enjoy the days...

babies don't keep, amy; all us "experienced and retired" moms would love one more day with our babies for sure....so savor each moment, even the bad ones

Congratulations Momma and Daddy - what a handsome young man he is. Thanks for the chuckle - he is definitely "armed and dangerous"! I love his name.

It's funny that you were christened by your son. Enjoy Jacob's baby-years, they go by fast. I started a blog yesterday.

He's such a beautiful baby. I'm curious what the cats think of him.

Grace hit it exactly right: I'd love to spend another day with my son as a baby and toddler. Don't blink your eyes, it'll be over all too quickly. Jacob is sooo handsome and he looks divinely happy with his dad in your photo set.

Every day will get easier and I wish you a speedy physical recovery. But every day will fly and suddenly you'll be doing the school run :-) so enjoy it all... the pain, the tears, the pee...I love baby boys, it's funny when that happens LOL
