Mommy & son at a Hanukkah Party

Happy Hanukkah to those of you who celebrate it. Today is the first full day of Hanukkah - the holiday started last night at sundown. So I had my fried donuts last night. (The holiday commemorates 1 days worth of oil lasting for 8 days, hence the eating of fried foods.) Tonight, we will have potato pancakes with baked chicken & green beans - have to even out all of that oil!

Happy Holidays to the rest of you as well, a few days early. My family is going for holiday photographs on Wednesday & bowling on Thursday. Hopefully a bit of blog reading thrown in for good measure while daddy is home.

Look at the previous post to find out about an almost free-bee from my "stash."

What cuties - both of you! Sounds like Hanukkah food isn't vey compatible with trying to lose weight LOL!

About time you changed your profile don't you think - you've added a husband and baby to the mix!

Happy holidays to all of you.

Happy Hanukkah Amy!
I didn't get around to blog-commenting earlier in the week, but it makes me smile today to see Jacob enjoying his first holiday :)
