You cut and paste just like a document!
Use command "c: then Command "v". the command key is the one on either side of the space bar. (I work in an apple store)

Pleased to hear all is good..except for the baby not being prepared to get in the right position....get used to it, they NEVER want to do stuff just how you'd like!!
If I could I would go to the Inauguration and I'm Australian, so I would go if I were you, just seems like such an interesting thing to do,put your baby is hanging pouch at your chest and then you can tell your baby...we were there!!
