This is plan C for those fabrics & There are many things that I would do differently next time, but it is done & "Done is better than Perfect." The model is mid-bath (in case you can see that cute little pink tongue)... This has a minky back, so I kept it simple... It is soft & warm. & Ready for the washer once we have the washer ready for baby.

The quilt looks sweet -- but the cat inspector cracked me up! Can definitely see the little pink tongue sticking out. :-)

Funny, but for some reason I am drawn to this fabric also. Would like to see the whole quilt if you can get one without the inspector on it, lol!

I love that fabric and I'm hoarding a piece of it in my own stash... I can fully see why it would be attractive to a cat!

I was so disappointed when I missed getting that fabric. My yard is full of goldfinch feeders all summer and fall. Sometimes there are 30 or more feeding. I really missed the boat on this one. It's gorgeous.
The taupes are so beautiful and I love your adorable model.
