I should be saying that I "finished" one of my "Finish by Thanksgiving" projects, but alas I only got around to photographing, not to finishing the binding on this quilt for my baby. Crazy excuse, but here goes: I only have 1 hand sewing box & it is with the log cabin that I am 90% finished with quilting & the doll quilts that I want to quilt on Friday while I am waiting during the 3 hour glucose tolerance test. So I did not want to take that kit out of the bag to work on the binding...

the back & detail of the quilting (The back is darker - the fabric that is the narrow inner border & binding on the front - which better represents the colors.)

Wow it is beautiful, Amy. Translation please? god luck with the glucose tolerance test.
It is beautiful! Hebrew alphabet? I second the good luck with the GTT. I had gestational diabetes with the third one but managed with diet.
It's beautiful, the quilting is phenomenal, too! Best wishes with the glucouse test!
that quilt is stuning. your baby will be so lucky to have such loving parents and a gorgeous quilt. Once you gave the name of your longarmer who was beginning and in need of business. Does she still? Looking for a recommendation.
Follow your blog, but usually lurk Sorry.
WOWOWOW!!
Absolutely stunning!
As for the GTT:
Be sure to hydrate well the night before, hold pressure on the puncture site, and know that once it is done ... it is done.
I always hated the GTT with pregnant patients. Felt so sorry for the number of times we had to draw.
Way cool quilting. Good luck with the glucose test. My son had one this summer and it made him really sick. That is nasty stuff.
Hi Amy, the baby quilt is just as unique and beautiful as possible I think ! Love the Star of David quilting as well. I love that its as personal as you can get *VBS*
I'm wondering, with all the references to finishing things by Thanksgiving...is that your due date by any chance???
Glad you Dad came through the hurricane not much worse for the wear. Love the RRcrossing too. Good job! Hugs, Finn
Great quilting Amy! Did you to that? The quilt is lovely - I, too, would like to know what it says.
You know the soloution to your problem don't you - put together a second and even a third and fourth little kit for handwork. Unless you really want an excuse.
:-)
It's beautiful Amy!
I'm lost, did you mention what the squiggles are in a previous post?
I just love this one! It's so YOU! What a very special heirloom.
Jeanne :)
