Funny & a "personal" question

To which my cat replied, At least you only have to push out one Kitten.

The question:
If you were "pleasantly plump" brfore getting pregnant, when were you able to first feel the baby moving? (The doctor asked me if I could feel the baby moving & I can't. Does that mean that I am too fat?)

NOPE, it means you have a quiet kitten at this point. The first time I really thought it was just gas or something, then it kept happening, this little fluttering, and I realized it had to be the baby!

I am overloaded with zucchini. I'm going to try your recipe tonight.

I remember the little flutters around 16 weeks. With the first one I didn't realize that it was the baby until later. Once I knew that those flutters were the baby, I realized I had actually felt it at 16 weeks.

I'm on week 21 of my first pregnancy now -- I started to feel my little guy moving at about 19 weeks. However, like the other ladies said, I realize now that I know the feeling of him moving, I was probably able to feel him a week or two earlier than that, I just didn't know that was him! I think it also helped me to see him on the ultrasound and figure out that his little legs are actually kind-of up by my belly button (or were at the time of the ultrasound, at least), so then I knew where to feel him.

To me it feels like I'm flexing my muscles in my abdomen, but I'm not actually doing anything. You'll be able to feel your little one soon, I'm sure! It's so amazing -- congratulations!

No, it means you don't know exactly what you're feeling for. When it happens really big, you'll know, and you might say, "Oh, I felt that weeks ago. That's what it was." And then you will love it. Soon, you'll be able to see baby move. That is freaky.

James was quiet at first but then all of a sudden he made himself known. I could almost feel that little paw kicking me all the time. It's actually a very pleasant sensation and when it happens it will stop you in your tracks.

It also depends on where your placenta is, apparently. I was told at an early ultrasound that my placenta was at the back which would mean I would feel this baby early. I felt my first at 20 weeks. This one? 13 weeks!

I knew for sure what I was feeling at 20 weeks, and then realised that I'd been feeling for much longer and just thought it was some weird pregnancy gas thing lol.

I have NO idea when I 1st felt LB move - I was about 3 months along before I even found out I was having him. I am my Mom's 9th child and she says that I never kicked until I she was 6 months along. Since I am the youngest she just figured she was menopausing with a bit of indigestion thrown in for good measure - so I was really a big surprise when she found out that another baby was arriving in 3 months! I think everyone is different so don't worry!
Cheers!
