I bought them all as a blue bundle. But I am working on a doll quilt that is supposed to be blue....

Luckily my plan will wok with the 5 on the right - those are blue & white only.

Just wondering... Any opinions out there?

Well, surely not blue in the strictest sense. They all seem to have some blue in them . . . but I agree that the 5 on the right are the true blue candidates.

Maybe they saw all those as working together in a predominantly blue quilt? Or maybe they goofed? I guess as a purchaser I would find calling it a "blue bundle" a little misleading, but I can see from their design point of view that they might envision them together.

I agree with you -- the 5 on the right are real blue fabrics. Maybe those other fabrics all work with the blues, but I think it's a bit of a stretch calling them a "blue bundle."

I think it depends on how clean or how scrappy you want to go. When I made the Crossed Kayaks quilt, I used a very controlled blue - with the denim circle, anything that had blue in it was considered blue. So it just depends on what kind of look you are going for. For the Shakespeare in the Park, I am trying to add some more different blues, because I don't think it is scrappy enough!

I'd call them all blue except the brown and green one, but even that has some blue. Too much the same is boring, remember. The later post sounds like you've worked out the problem.

Well, most are blue but not that BROWN one.

The brown one is the only one that stood out as "one of these things is not like the others" but I think it would still work.
