This technique was (is) part of a major quilting (Maybe batting) advertising campaign - I have loved it ever since I first saw it. But I think that it is a technique for me to admire, not to try out myself.

Do you mean the location. I think it might be a representation of the 12 Apostles which are found along The Great Ocean Road in Victoria, but I stand to be corrected
How cool! I also think (know) it's the 12 Apostles. I saved a cheese wrapper that I bought at Sam's Club for three weeks because it had a picture of that wonderful place on it!
I don't know where it is, but the piece is beautiful!!
I do not know, but what a lovely part of the quilt!Hope you will share the rest later.....
Wow. That's very cool. I can't imagine how that came to be. Cool share.
It's the 12 Apostles - Jenny said so . . . .

Yes definately Victoria to the West of Melbourne, through our second largest city of Geelong and then what is rated as one of the best drives in the world. One I would rather drive than be a passenger.
I won a holiday a couple of years ago at a place called Appolo Bay and we had glorious weather and it was a wonderful drive down and back.
I am sorry you will have to cut and paste these links. It would be nice if they were active. I have put them into my blog so that you can go there and they are active. It is about 2 hours from where I live amd is a glorious spot. Outside our Port Phillip Bay and on the Ocean coastline.

Yep - The Twelve Apostles, which are sadly 12 no more due to the ravages of time. But this quilt is a beautiful tribute to them.
