The Very Hungry Caterpillar fabric by Andover Fabrics based on the book by Eric Carle.
I am taking Judy's challenge (in her blog format, I can't figure out how to link to one post, sorry.)& will make this grouping into a log cabin quilt. This project has been a PIG (Project in Grocery sack) of mine for quite some time now, this is just the impetus to do it! It will be straight furrows in a rainbow arrangement, with the cats as the centers. The best part - this will be a stash quilt!

The fabric is fantastic! All of it, the VHC and the rainbows. I think it'll be a great log cabin quilt.
Wow, my colors! Love it!
I just bought the polka dots from the Very Hungry Caterpillar, but not the rest. I have plans to use it soon (always have plans!).
The Caterpillar fabric is soooo cute!
These are wonderful fabrics. That cat quilt will be particularly nice!
I have that kitty panel and haven't decided what to do with it yet. Think I'll wait and see what you come up with!
Those are pretty colors - it is going to be a great quilt!
Love the Hungry Cattepillar fabric...I had heard it was coming out, but this was the first I had seen it. www.therunningquilter.blogspot.com
OH MY OOH MY OH MY! This is the best fabric EVER!! I love the Hungry Caterpillar!!! I will have to break my vow of fabric poverty for this one!!
We just received a Google alert about your blog mention of the Eric Carle-themed fabric. We hope you do not mind our posting, but we at The Carle Museum are so excited about this fabric we are offering 10% off to readers who order via the Museum Web site, http://www.picturebookart.org/Shop/NEW_Fabric, and mention the blog or Web site they heard about the fabric on. (Note: We are a non-profit organization, so all proceeds support the Museum's mission.)
We have also created a Flickr group for readers to share their crafty creations at http://www.flickr.com/groups/ericcarlefabric/ - we would love to see all the wonderful things your talented readers will create with this fabric!
Thank you,

Very jealous of your Eric Carle fabric! I will have to track some down!
I love the caterpiller fabric. I bought some to make my grandson a pillowcase. Of course, then I had to go buy him the book to go with it.
I just bought a kit today to make a twin size quilt using the caterpillar panel as the center piece. I came right home and got it all cut out and hope to have the top done in a couple of days. The quilt shop didn't have all the cool coordinating fabrics though, the kit has similar, but not quite the same fabrics. I may have to make a second one and order the fabrics online!
