In the mean time, my GF showed me how she finishes a binding, not how I wanted to do it, but it works...
So I finished my Doll Quilt II swap quilt & mailed it. (I'll blog it when it gets to its destination.)
& I finished one for me:

One more to bind for a one to one swap...
I also mailed a gift quilt, that I will also wait to blog until it is received.
But I do have some neat eye candy, from my fellow Sew-n-tell members (that is what we call our mini-group.)

If you have anything that you want me to check out, or that you want to tell me, send me an e-mail...

Hi Amy! It is a voice from your past! I don't comment much anymore, but am trying to change that. I love your doll quilt you kept for yourself...great fabrics!
I am in the swap as well, and as my partner likes CW repros, you'll never guess what I will be doing for her quilt, lol.. Yup... Dear Jane blocks...
Hope you are well and married life is treating you well!

Love that freshcut baby quilt!
hi Amy-I have been dreaming of a taupe storm at sea. Love your doll quilt!! I want -need one! I am doing a one on ones swap with a friend and I am going to use my curve master and try to do a really small drunkards path. I have printed the patterns but not the fabric. Any ideas? Maybe Kaffe Fasset>>>>>hmmmm so many fabrics so little time! My travel blocks are also pings..
Hi, Amy! Very nice "keeper" quilt! What width did you use for the binding?
I thought the show-and-tell quilts were very pretty, too.
Now that's my kind of doll quilt! Bright and cheerful. I like the basket of flowers quilt too - I have some of that basket weave fabric ...maybe one of these days...
Although horses aren't my thing - I really like that wedding ring with the fussy cut picture fabric in the centres - I'd never have thought of doing that - that's the great thing about blogging you get so much inspiration from other people
Nice doll quilt! I picked up a half-dozen doll beds at one point and made little quilts for them...it is a great "I have a finish" feeling!
Hope the stuffed meatballs come out OK. Like the idea of the soaked mint! Silly me had just used it to make tea!
Lovely doll quilt!
I love that basket of flowers!!
Hey Amy, I'm playing catch-up. I love your bike! And the doll quilt you made for yourself is absolutely darling. It reads "happy" all over it.
Can't say as I blame you Amy. It does take a lot of time this blogging thing.
Cute little quilts!
Amy, I hope that all of the things that are keeping you busy are all good things. Take care while you're "gone."
The doll quilt turned out really pretty - great job on the binding!
Love that keeper quilt - I like to have a keeper, too *s* Hope your days settle down and you are back with us soon.
Can't wait to see your quilt for the swap...and it's always good to have one for yourself :)
I too have cut down on comments and computer time. It's amazing what can be accomplished in a day...away from the computer!
Oooh, what a lovely little doll quilt! I know what you mean about something having to give -- been there. Hope what is keeping you busy is fun. No matter how often you post, I will still be coming back to see what is "new".
Your work is beautiful. I found you through Michael (an old childhood friend.I live in Israel and finally mustered up the courage to send a message)
I don't know much about quilts, but I'll be popping in again soon. Thanks for sharing.
Ok, WOW, that doll quilt is nuts. All that color! So beautiful! I hope I'm your partner...if not whoever she is ...one luck girl! Nice job. Can't wait to see the real one.
cute doll quilts~! Is the one for you from a recent charm pack? it looks familiar to me.
I absolutely LOVE that flower basket!
Love the first doll quilt, very nice. You've certainly been busy while I was away - I'm slowly catching up on my blog reading...
