Love all the fabrics and the cat! I saw a quilt recently (can't remember where) that made it to my "one day I'll make that" list. It was half square triangles sewn together with a circle appliqued on the centre. The circles were all japanese fabrics and they were really effective.

So are you freezing there at the moment?

Oh my gosh, I adore that kitty. That is forks I'm seeing and possibly a spoon for the tail? Love it. What a find. The material is beautiful, love the way you work - buy first, work out later - that's what I do. :)

Looks like fun!

I am really liking the looks of your "matchy matchy" groupings below. :) I am finding myself also drawn to them, particularly the turqouise/brown combo.

I KNEW there'd be cat fabric. LOL! sorry I can't help you on what to do with the japanese prints but they sure are lovely. And (of course) I love the home dec piece. :-)

Lots of really great goodies... lucky you! You'll figure out what to do with them, I have no doubt. I love the silverware creations, saw them at MidAtlantic, the cat is a treasure!

Oh man what a cat! I think that one is going to go walking around your house at night while you're sleeping! I bought a piece of antique Japanese fabric last year, it was so gorgeous, and likewise have not the slightest idea of what to do with it. Love love your fabric purchases.

Those authentic Japanese prints are so easy to use. Have you ever thought about making fabric balls? They are 3D and you stuff them w/ cotton. They are adorable. Kids, pets, adults, everybody loves them. Other ideas of course are to use Japanese mazagines like Quilts Japan to look for cool patterns. They have zillions of patterns for little bags.

Ohh, bet those long quarter pieces would make a good border for something. ;)

You made some great selections! Like the cat, too.

Great photos and Quilts! Wish I could be split in two so I could be at both shows at once. Your photos solve that problem.
