Thanks to my friend Shelley, I have a digital photo of my friend Deborah's 50th birthday quilt. (You may recognize my block - the onions top middle) We are all in a mini-group. All of us work or worked for the Social Security Administration... We meet in the back of a LQS generally on the 3rd Sunday of the month... Deborah was on the RAW diet, which is how we decided to do this theme for her quilt.

wonderfully fun quilt -- perfect for the summer picnic!
Wow, that turned out really nice!
What a great quilt - love it! How did she like it? I bet it gave her a wonderful laugh. You all did a supurb job.
That's fun quilt. Growing up where vegetables are grown, I know many who would love such a quilt.
I LOVE this quilt. Beautiful!
Great quilt! and I love the onion block.
What a neat quilt! how fun.
Cute! I have a fat quarter bundle with fruits and vegi's that I bought at the Mid Atlantic Quilt show last year that I still have to use. I found my pattern but still need a border/sashing fabric.
That quilt is just awesome! Bright and it has a meaning. I am sure she loves it!
The quilt looks wonderful.
I just spent 1/2 hour at the Fat Quarter shop link you had and bought $87.00 worth of bits and pieces! Thanks for the link - I guess, LOL
Stunning!!
that's a fun food quilt! I'll have to study it more before I start my son's quilt.
love the quilt and what a wonderful play on the diet, too!
What a super fun quilt, I really love it. I never would have thought of that idea!

What an adorable food quilt for your friend. I'm sure she'll love it.
I've seen those Jelly Rolls. I'm intrigued with the idea of buying strips of fabric, but I would prefer larger strips, perhaps 6 inches wide. Now if I could find that size I'd buy them. Have fun with the ones you bought.
That is definitely a delicious quilt! Quilt-as-you-go is my favorite method of putting one together. Great job!
That turned out to be a great quilt. It was so nice for you and her other friends to get together to make it for her.
Wow...that's really righteous! Good job on the onions!
Beautiful! Saw the Ping quilt at Mid-Atlantic.
I love that quilt. So great. Sorry about your cold...this to shall pass. I worry about your third person fixation...smile...
the paino key border sets off those blocks SO well!
