4 hours

not too bad to read all of your posts from my 4 day weekend. Don't be envious, we are knee deep in renovations & deliveries...

Without too much detail we had a range delivered & installed (two different days) a refrigerator delivered (yet to be installed) a plumber show up to look when we were very specific about wanting a replacement without a look, an electrician, a general handy man...

Still no faucets (they were ordered early September) Still no cabinets (also ordered early September)

Living room furniture was delivered - 3 upholstered items - 3 different fabrics - they were supposed to all be the color of the ottoman... The paper work was o.k. it ONLY took about 8 weeks to get what we got (they will "try again" and we get to use what we got in the mean time...)

Hung several framed items & several quilts.

Decided on my first "arty" Australian quilt & where to hang it once it is completed.

Wrote a paper - don't feel good about it, but it is done.

Have not done anything quilty... Not even unpacking...

It was nice to read about everyone elses productivity - I am a little motivated...

You sound incredibly busy. At least you are getting things done, checking the off the list. Take some time to quilt.

Ahhh, the trials and tribulations of getting set up in a new home. It will all be worth it in the end.

p.s. I didn't dip any of the veggies at The Melting Pot *s*

Oh, my dear, I know just how you're feeling!!!

Especially disappointing about the upholstered stuff! Cause you have to wait soooo long for it to begin with. This time it took all summer to get the two chairs we had ordered ...

Aah, the "joys" of moving! I know it doesn't really feel like it now but it will be worth it in the end. ((((HUGS))))

moving is lots of work but once it's done your house will be your HOME! and that's a great feeling

Sounds exhausting. Makes me glad we decided to rent for a while in Minneapolis until we see how things go. Renting also takes off the pressure to have to sell the house and condo. I've been trying to downsize my studio so it will fit in a bedroom and I've made some progress but it's going to be tough.

Sounds like a lot of work to get your house together. You've got great patience, and I'm sure you will be able to get your perfect dreamhouse in no time.
