Congrats! Home-ownership is a lot of work, but worth it!

Our nephew who works for the state department is moving back to the DC area from a stent Germany and is in the process of purchasing a townhouse in Germantown, MD, for his new family! http://patchworkreflections.blogspot.com/2006/07/wedding-in-germany.html

I'm so happy for you. Home ownership is a whole new experience! Is it a brand new condo or has it been lived in before. Will you do a lot of redecorating?

Congratulations, Amy! Since you're closing in the middle of September, you'll be able to move before the weather goes bad.
Re: Judy Martin quilts-I love them too. I've wanted to make Shakespeare in the Park for years.

YAHOO!!!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed that there are no complications with the sale.

Yep you'll have to do the "dirt poor" thing for a while too! But it's so much easier to do when it has a purpose. I know you're going to have a blast setting your home up.

Brilliant - that's so exciting for you. Hopefully the really stressful bit (i.e. actually finding and getting somewhere) is over with and you'll be able to enjoy moving in.
