An Answer

It's an Answer blog since I can not reply via e-mail (insert Snarky comment!).

Picasa appears to be stuck in "old blogger" & the "old blogger" is bye bye. No I can not go back to old blogger - or I would be soooooooo there.

I a seriously considering a different blog format - maybe the kind that diary of a mad fabri-holic has?

I've been considering a move to Typepad for a long time. So far I just haven't wanted to go to the trouble of setting up housekeeping at a whole new bloghome, plus I hate to put people who link to me to the trouble of changing things, but one of these days I'll get JUST fed up enough with Blogger to be outta here.

fabriholic has a super blog.. seems like she is able to do alot more than we at old blogger.. if you have continued trouble, you may want to make the move.. don't worry we will follow..

typepad is good - but i think it isn't free for a typepad account. Wordpress has a free blog from their website. Mine is wordpress, but different from what is on website since I have integrated it with my website. www.wordpress.org

Your supposed to also be able to import from blogger so you won't loose your stuff from blogger.

How frustrating for you. Hope your blogger issues improve soon.

Don't you say "whinge" in America? Lol. What other uniquely Australian-isms did notice when you travelled here?

Judy L had trouble converting and now you! I am staying in the shallow end of the pool. I don't even know what "beta" means, so I never thought to switch. Sometimes being smarter just doesn't get ya anywhere! :)

Wordpress is simple to use and I really like it. Hope you sort out your blogging issues.

Personally, I don't like the three columns. It's too hard to track everything. According to a program on the radio today, for businesses, people's eyes track to the left first and that's where important things should go. Anyway, the three columns is too busy for my old eyes! You might investigate livejournal. They have a free option.

Once they make the changeover a rule here, I will be moving over to livejournal. I've used it for 5 years and it just keeps getting better.
