Views from the Kuranda Train from Kuranda to Cairns

This is the engine of the train. We were in the last car, hence the nice photo.

This is the waterfalls that you see in the engine photo as our car passed them. You could almost stick your arm out and feel the water as we passed by...

The last two photos are views from the train. This officially ends the Queensland portion of our trip. Next stop - Sydney (on Wednesday.)

Have a wonderful Independence Day celebration - if your an American. If not, have a wonderful 4th of July! :o)

We have tentative plans to see a civil war battle reenactment & the fireworks on the National Mall. More probable I will cook Judy's spicey chicken & sew until far closer to the fireworks demonstration, when we will attempt to board a bus to the Mall to see the fireworks...

Amy, once again, thanks for the pix. Never been to Australia and probably will never get to go.
