Shell that I found

I don't know exactly what kind of shell this is (A cone of some sort, if I have to guess - based on the pictures that I have seen online) according to the Naturalist, it must have washed up in the recent cyclone (Larry) because it is not bleached yet. It was really big - the size of a cantaloupe or honeydew melon. I was so proud of myself for finding such a treasure - the others were looking at the water... (I was up on the "softer" sand...)

Amy, sounds like such a wonderful trip. I got the postcard today so it did make it to Georgia! We are definitely going to have to visit Australia.

The move isn't for a while - I have to get through the wedding on Oct. 28th and sell the house. Keith will probably have to move by November and hopefully I'll be able to go then too.

That looks like a fun trip. Cool shell, too bad you weren't able to take it home!!!
