My signature quilt

http://www.fonsandporter.com/storefront/57mj05kits/slantedstars.asp

Since I looked it up for someone else, here is the pattern for my wedding signature quilt. However, is made with batiks. The darks are all scrappy with 1 light - & boy was it lucky that I found a nice light for signing.... If you are familiar with batiks, you know that there are not too many lights out there.....

I also got a nice batik for the border and backing.

It sounds pretty! (Much prettier than the F & P version.)

Amy: It's going to be so nice! I'm betting batiks make great signing quilts because they're smoother than the average cotton.

You buy at webfabrics.net, don't you? They have all the Hoffman 1895 batiks and I love the Latte color. Very light but there are other lights in the 1895 line too.

Amy,
LOVE the siggy quilt pattern. And as a batik snob *VBG* I know it'll be awesome!

You are so right about light batiks too...tough to found but getting more available!
